Nairn Book and Arts Festival 2008

As part of the Tez Watson, iolaire photo:graphicsNairn Book and Arts Festival we are organising some photography related events. These include an exhibition featuring works by talented local photographers, an open competition aimed at local amateur photographers and a light-hearted photographic challenge looking at Nairn High Street in closeup. The events are all designed to promote photography as an artform, but also to demonstrate that taking photographs can provide a challenge and yet still be a great deal of fun!

If you wish to take part in the competition the entry forms are available here for you to download. During the week of the Festival the competition entries will be on display in the Nairn Museum, closing date for entries is Saturday 31st May 2008.
